HUMANITY FIRST. ALWAYS.
Elevating lives, restoring dignity, and empowering communities — together.
Elevating lives, restoring dignity, and empowering communities — together.
The Kahloon Foundation is a Pakistan-based initiative inspired by the values of a working-class family and driven by the belief that dignity is a right, not a privilege. In a country where over 55 million people face poverty, we work to uplift communities by meeting urgent needs and enabling long-term pathways for economic empowerment.
Join us in elevating lives, one act of care, one community at a time.
A world where dignity is restored, hope is real, and every community has the chance to rise — together.
To elevate lives and empower communities by responding to basic human needs and creating long-term pathways for economic empowerment.
I come from a rural background, born into a middle-class agriculturist family in Punjab. I grew up around people who lived comfortable lives. Although poverty existed even then, it rarely posed a barrier to basic life necessities as it does today.
While growing up, I would work on farmlands, ride buses for hours to reach college, and consequently struggle to balance my studies, work, and recreation. My father, very sociable outside but indifferent at home, may not have had any big plans for me, but my mother. She herself did not have much formal education but served as my unwavering compass, reminding me each day of the importance of higher education.
Though I had no one around guiding me on how to navigate the future, thanks to my mother's support and prayers, I completed my Master of Science in IT and left Pakistan in 2003 to begin my career in the UAE. I still remember how my mother quietly sold some of her jewelry for my relocation.
I would work more than 15 hours a day while hardly having any weekends in the UAE, yet insufficient to cover my basic living costs. Despite this, I would never forget to take care of financial needs of my family's and many needy around them.
My passion for helping did not stop with my mother's passing, nor after my family had settled down well; instead, it grew further by the day. Over time, as my financial breathing space grew, my wife and I kept increasing the support we could provide to our community back home.
Today, I am fortunate to succeed professionally, make my siblings settle well, get my sons to good schools, and live a quality life with my family abroad. However, my heart goes after millions of those unable to meet their basic needs due to the ever-increasing financial and economic disparity between the rich and the poor in Pakistan, where over 55 million people live below the poverty line.
Driven by this passion for helping, I aspire to transform this noble cause of helping into a collective effort that unites and empowers us more to make a lasting impact. With this intention, I have established our charitable foundation, for those in need.
Thank you for visiting. Your time, attention, and support are truly appreciated. Together, we can make a difference.
